Hail Damage  /  New Braunfels, Texas

Hail damage roof inspection and repair.

Hail leaves a signature that’s specific and, from the ground, nearly invisible. Knowing what it actually looks like is the difference between a claim that gets paid and one that gets denied — and between real damage and a contractor telling you there’s damage.
The signature

What hail damage actually looks like.

Hail doesn’t tear a roof. It bruises it. An impact fractures the shingle mat beneath the surface and knocks granules loose, and the exposed asphalt then degrades under Texas UV far faster than it should. The roof usually keeps working for a while — which is exactly why the damage gets missed until it’s past the claim window.
What adjusters assess

Density per test square is what decides it.

An adjuster typically marks a ten-by-ten-foot test square on each slope and counts qualifying impacts inside it. Carriers set a threshold, and slopes that meet it get approved while slopes that don’t, don’t — which is why partial approvals are common and why documentation on every slope matters.

We document the way the assessment is actually performed rather than photographing a few dramatic hits. That’s a less exciting report and a considerably more useful one.
Straight talk

Cosmetic isn’t the same as claimable.

Some hail marks a roof without meaningfully shortening its life, and some policies now carry cosmetic damage exclusions specifically for this. A contractor promising a full replacement before anyone has counted impacts on a test square is telling you what you want to hear.

We’ll give you a straight read on whether what’s up there is likely to support a claim, and we’ll tell you when we think it won’t.

Find out what the hail actually did.

We’ll document impact density on every slope and give you the photographs and written assessment, whichever way it goes.
