Wind Damage  /  New Braunfels, Texas

Wind damage roof repair in New Braunfels.

Wind damage is the one homeowners most often miss, because a wind-damaged roof frequently looks completely normal from the driveway. The seal is broken, the shingle is creased, and the roof is now taking on water at the next rain.
The signature

What wind does to a shingle roof.

Asphalt shingles are held down by a factory adhesive strip that bonds in the sun. Wind gets under an edge, breaks that seal, and folds the shingle back. When it lays down again it can look untouched — but the seal is gone and there’s a crease across the mat where it bent.
Why it gets missed

A creased shingle looks fine from the ground.

This is the damage type homeowners most often assume they don’t have. There’s no dramatic hole and nothing obviously wrong from the street, so nothing gets reported — and the claim window closes.

Then it rains sideways, water gets under an unsealed tab, and a leak appears months later that no longer looks connected to a storm. The directional pattern is the evidence, which is why we photograph damage with orientation noted.
Repair scope

Sometimes it’s one elevation.

Wind damage is frequently concentrated rather than roof-wide, which makes it more repairable than hail. If one slope took the uplift and the rest of the roof is sound, that’s a repair — though matching shingles on an older roof is a real constraint we’ll be honest with you about.

Where wind broke seals across most of the roof, the system as a whole no longer performs as designed, and that’s a different conversation. We’ll show you which one you’re in.

We’ll check seal integrity across every elevation and photograph the directional pattern insurers look for.
